Community Planning Partnership (CPP)
CVS Aberdeenshire - Central & South is a local community
planning partner in South Aberdeenshire within Aberdeenshire Community
Planning Partnership. We attend the local community planning groups
in Marr and Kincardine & Mearns areas (LCPG's). Our role within
community planning is to represent the interest of the voluntary sector.
This does not mean that we try to represent all the views of each and every community and voluntary group that we know about. Rather we endeavour to feed in information and a point of view which reflects the interests of the voluntary sector generally from our local knowledge and information.
CVS Aberdeenshire - Central & South works with
other community planning partners in MARR to hold Community Forums.
You are welcome to attend these forums in order to make your views
known, meet other people from your area who are involved in community
activity, be involved in discussions and hear about issues that are
current.
In Kincardine & Mearns, CVSA is forming a Community
Forum in order to complement the Community Council Forum which already
exists.
If you are interested in attending any of the forums, or simply wish to make is aware of your views or issues then please contact us.
In addition CVSA works with our Aberdeenshire CVS
Network colleagues to attend both the Community Planning Executive
at Chief Officer level, and the Community Planning Board at Board
level.
Local Social Enterprise Partnership
We are currently awaiting further news about the re establishment of this partnership.
Community Health Partnership (CHP)
CVSA attends the South Aberdeenshire Local Community Health
Partnership (SALCHP) meetings to represent the interests of the local
community and voluntary sector groups which deliver health services
or are involved with health improvement generally.
We also hold two Community Health Partnership seminars each year across the area I order to keep community and voluntary groups informed about CHP issues and activity. If you are interested in attending these seminars and wish to receive CHP information that we circulate, then please contact us.
In addition, CVSA works with our CVS Network colleagues
to attend the Aberdeenshire Community Health Partnership and the Aberdeenshire
Health Improvement Group.
Other Shire wide partnerships we feed into are: Integrated Aberdeenshire, Carers Strategy & Implementation Group, Young Carers Strategy Group and Volunteer Centre Aberdeenshire; and we have links to the Cairngorms National park Authority and the Community Safety Executive.
Local representation: we are members of Marr Area Partnership, Kincardine & Mearns Area Partnership, South Aberdeenshire Drug, alcohol & blood born diseases Forum, South Health Improvement Group and Older People’s Management Team (South).
If you have views about any of the topics covered
by one or more of the above groups and partnerships, or would like
